Vet

Owner
Info: Rosie's
caregivers found her just a week ago wandering in their neighborhood and
rescued her. Rosie was covered in fleas and had a lot of hair loss as
a result, and may have been dumped by her owner. They have
contacted several rescues, placed "found dog" ads in their local
paper and local radio station, but have had no luck. She does not have a
microchip. She does not appear to be housebroken, but is leash trained.
Rosie is currently living at the kennel at their vet's office and is doing very
well there, however when they first picked her up and put her in their
yard, she was clearly on a mission to continue on her journey to somewhere, as
she kept trying to walk through their chain link fence. They have seen her
with dogs, cats, men, women and teens and she did great with all of
them! Rosie seems very quiet, trusting, and did not show any
surprise or aggression when she was found. She couldn't hear her current
caregiver's approach and had her back to her, and when she was
touched, Rosie turned slowly and wagged her tail!! Rosie has
cataracts on both eyes, one is very mature, but she probably sees some light
and shadow with the other. She appears to be almost totally deaf as
well. They also note that she is a bit stiff in her legs, so probably
has some arthritis. She is a sweet, quiet girl with a beautiful white coat now
that she has been bathed and they're hoping she can find a forever
home to live out her senior years in comfort. She is definitely
worth the effort, sweet girl that she is!!!
