Uncer - Adopted

Vet/Medical Info: Uncer tested negative for Heartworm, had his rabies shot good for one year, had bordetella, parvo, adeno and distemper all on 8/11/11. He is not neutered.

Owner Info: DOB 8/14/2001. Uncer is currently with a rescue in GA, he came to them sort of as an accident by someone who found him and was willing to make a donation. They have since found out he was abandoned by his owners. He is blind due to years of having untreated chronic dry eye, he is currently being treated with Optimmune but wasn’t treated or treated properly in the past by previous owners. Uncer will be vetted, advertised on their website and taken to adoption events. They don’t feel that they are able to give him exactly what he needs and thought we might be more specialized in helping him. He is scheduled to be neutered and have his filthy teeth cleaned in a week. He has many small growths on him, which will be assessed better during the surgery. Uncer has adapted well to his new surroundings, it has only taken him three days to figure out how to get himself from his dog bed to the back door where he goes out to potty. If we can take Uncer, they might be able to provide transport for part of the way. Also, any vet care as far as basic vaccinations, testing, neuter, dental would be paid for. Getting neutered 8/23/2011, owner will contact me after that date to confirm.

Diesel - Adopted

Vet/Medical Info: Diesel has been neutered. He received all his vaccinations including rabies 5/31/11, rabies was a 1 year shot. They had no record of a heartworm test being given. They do know he is on Heartworm prevention medication. He is also on Flulxetine for anxiety.

Owner Info: DOB 7/7/2007. Diesel was dumped at his current owners house when he was 18 months old by an estranged family member and they rescued him. Diesel has had two prolapsed eyes due to fights with owners other dogs and is now blind, he is newly blind and needs one on one attention.. He needs to be in a home with no other dogs as according to his owner, he shows aggression to other dogs, mainly large dogs. 

Ellie - Adopted

Vet/Medical Info: Ellie is spayed, not UTD on vaccines and they have no record of any HW testing. They've seen Ellie only one time, in December 2010, for a preventative health exam. They have no other information.

Owner Info: Ellie's owner is concerned that their 2 year old grandson may startle Ellie and get nipped. Ellie was a rescue dog. She is a clever girl, knows commands such as sit (one snap of the fingers) lie down (two snaps of the fingers) come - by voice, or whistle - heel. Ellie went blind 6 months ago (degenerative retinitis). She is an indoor dog with the run of the house, housebroken and leash trained. She can be a bit shy but loves people and children of all ages. She is a very well behaved, gentle dog.

Vinci - Adopted

Vet/Medical Info: We have not been able to verify Vinci’s medical information.

Owner Info: Vinci is full of energy, happy, always hungry and just learning to know the people around him. A GS has rescued him, she rescues dogs in Puerto Rico and adopts them out but the chances for this one is one in a million over here. Right now Vinci is in a Vet office and they have been trying to find a family for him but nobody is interested. He is in great health, has a great temperament and is a beautiful puppy. The vet agrees to cover all the necessary shots, bordatella, rabies, etc. and heart worm prevention medicine.

Ruby - Staying With Owner

Vet/Medical Info: Ruby is spayed. Ruby had her Rabies shot August 2011 (one year shot) but is overdue for all other vaccinations and never has had a heartworm test. They said she comes in mostly to buy food.

Owner Info: Ruby's owner loves her dearly but due to the economy cannot afford to care for her anymore. She adopted Ruby from a shelter and does not want her to have to go back to one. Ruby went blind about two years ago, since going blind Ruby is a little skittish around other dogs until she gets used to them and doesn’t like being sniffed by strange dogs. She loves people and cats. She has eczema as a result of meat allergies. Ruby is very sweet, good natured and just wants a loving home. Ruby's owner can drive her to Philadelphia if we have foster space.

Lucy - With A Rescue in Houston

Owner Info: Lucy was dumped on the road and was taken in by her current owner so we are unsure if she's spayed, vaccinated, history, etc. She has had Lucy about three months but their female dog doesn't get along with her. Lucy can't see when she snarls. Lucy is not aggressive and has never been aggressive. She thought they found Lucy's owner but owner doesn't want her and won't come to get her. She adapted very quickly to her new surroundings. She has blue hazing across eyes, appears to be totally blind. She's a really good girl. If current owner didn't have her female, she would keep her.

Charlie - Adopted

Owner Info: Charlie's current owner rescued him from a backyard breeder, she has too many dogs and can't afford all the shots and licenses for the dogs she is planning on keeping. She can't afford to get Charlie neutered and his eye surgery done. One eye is missing and the other eye is there but does not function, apart from that he is in excellent health. Charlie is a well mannered, sweet dog. He is a happy boy who loves people, other dogs and is good with cats.
