Breed: Pomeranian
Sex: Male (altered)
Location: Charlottesville, VA area

Vet Info: Quincy is confirmed neutered and up to date on vaccines.  He weighs about 17 pounds.

Lola is a very friendly pup and is good with people of all ages, male and female dogs, and cats.   She is not possessive of toys, treats, or food, and has never bitten or snapped.  Lola is a very sweet little girl and her owners are hoping to find her a new home or rescue as soon as possible.  They wanted us to know more about Lola... "Lola is such a sweet dog and has been a great family pet to our military family. She's moved all over the country every 2-3 years. The last two moves have been harder on her since she is blind and has to learn a new floor plan every move. Traveling by airplane has also become a challenge giving Lola anxiety during the duration of the flight. Please help us find Lola a new home before we have to leave for our new duty station."

Update 7/8/15: We've heard from Lola's owners and she is still in need of rescue or a new home!  They are getting concerned because they are leaving for their next duty station in October and hope to have Lola in a new home well before then.
Lola is well.  We have not found a new home for her or a rescue.  It's worrisome since we are running out of time.  We would really appreciate it if you could update her post on your website/FB page.  We appreciate you following up and all the exposure you are giving us.  Thank you.

Snickers's owner died recently and his daughter has reached out for help in rehoming Snickers.  She is unable to keep him as she lives in a small condo with four cats and one dog, doesn't have a yard, and works all day.  She has tried, but it is not working out.  She has contacted friends, family members, and other rescues but has had no luck.  She is really hoping we will have a place for Snickers! Snickers is an indoor dog with run of the house, he is housebroken and leash trained.  He knows the commands, Sit, Stay, and Paw.  Snickers is good with men and women, both male and female dogs and cats, and currently lives with another dog and several cats. Snickers is not blind, but his owner's daughter believes he has a hard time seeing and he doesn't hear well.  She also tells us that he was "screened a couple of months ago for geriatric blood work and all came back good."  Snickers is a sweet little boy!  His owner's daughter wants us to know, "He's a sweet little guy that may need some time to adjust but just wants to be a loyal, loving dog to his person again."

Breed: Maltese
Sex: Male (not altered)

I really want him to find a home with someone who is going to love him and play with him. He is very playful and just wants attention. I feel very sad that I don't give him enough of that."
