Owner
Info: DOB
4/4/2006. Tye is an adorable Yorkshire Terrier who has recently been diagnosed
with SARDS. He is completely blind. He's also started having more accidents
inside. They've tried everything, but his owners don't feel they're able to
give Tye the time and patience he needs and deserves and are very much hoping
for rescue. They believe his blindness was the start of his accidents. Tye was
originally purchased from a breeder and they've had him for seven years. He's
an indoor dog confined to one area of the house, he is housebroken (but has
been having accidents) and leash trained. Tye is good with people of all ages,
cats and other small animals, and female dogs. He did once show aggression to a
male Bernese Mountain Dog who was getting excited around him, and "Tye
didn't like it" so nipped at him. Tye is not possessive of toys, treats,
or food. His owners say that he doesn't like to be left alone in his crate and
will get anxious and bark. Other than the SARDS, his owners write that
"Tye is an overall healthy dog. There are no other illnesses that we are
aware of." They want us to know that Tye is a real sweetheart! They write,
"Tye is a very sweet dog and gets along with everyone. We really hate to
see him put down for this but this is our last option."
