Vet Info: Hardee had a one-year
rabies shot on July 9, 2011 (so this is no longer current.) His current owner
reported that the shelter has updated DHLPP themselves as well as wormed him
and he has an appointment scheduled to get neutered. He is blind, which is former
owner said was caused by trauma.
Owner Info: Hardee is an adorable
Pekingese mix who was taken by a local rescue group to keep him from going to a
high-kill shelter. The rescue is now trying to make room for another animal in
need. Hardee weighs 20 pounds. He is an indoor dog with run of the house and is
house-broken and leash-trained. Hardee is outgoing and gets along with men,
women, teenagers, and younger kids. He is not possessive of treats, toys, or
food and has not shown aggression toward any person or animal. The current
owner says that he adapts well to new situations.
