Vet Info: Jovie is confirmed spayed and up to date on vaccines.  She is next due for the rabies vaccine on 7/1/2019.  Jovie has not had a recent heartworm test.  She weighs about 45 pounds.

Owner Info: Jovie is a beautiful girl whose owners are moving across the country shortly and cannot take her with them.  She is currently staying with a friend's mother, but the friend's mother is now saying Jovie is too much for her to handle.  Jovie's owner gave us more information about Jovie's current home:  "Jovie was very relaxed with us slept a lot of the time, every now and again would play with our children, but that doesn’t seem to be what the situation is at her new home. She seems to be anxious and nervous."  There are no children in her current home.  

Jovie's owner tells us Jovie is a very friendly girl, about 75% blind and 50% deaf from birth.  She is an indoor dog with run of the house, she is housebroken and leash trained.  She's good with people of all ages, male and female dogs, and cats!  Jovie is not possessive of toys, treats, or food and has never shown any aggression.  

Jovie's owner writes that she's had three different homes since she was rescued one year ago, and she's done well adjusting for the most part, although she doesn't do well on long car rides.  She also tells us that Jovie is very healthy other than her sight and hearing.  And she wants us to know that Jovie is a great snuggle partner!
