Owner
Info: Rocky
is a young lab/pit mix who is currently being fostered by a rescue but he needs
someone knowledgeable about blind dogs who can help him adjust. He has been
with the rescue about two and a half years and has been in two different foster
homes but neither has been a good fit. Rocky was rescued from the county animal
control and they found him wandering the streets.
Rocky
is an indoor dog confined to one area of the house. He is micro-chipped. He is
house-broken and leash-trained. He has not had formal training but he knows the
commands, sit and shake hands. He is outgoing and good with men, women, and
teenagers. Rocky is not possessive of toys, treats, or food and has never shown
aggression towards people. However, if another dog bumps or runs into him, Rocky
will “grump” at him. The rescue says this is what he needs help with. The
rescue also says that Rocky has adapted well to new surroundings when he has
been moved.
