Vet/Medical Info: Rabies and distemper (6 in 1) shots June 2010, Bordatells in August 2010. No info on eyes.
DOB Dec 2005. Rescued from shelter 3 yrs ago. Ranger is not good with small children (he is fine with teenagers). He has started snapping at his owner's boyfriends daughter, they have just had a baby together and partner is fearful for both the childrens well being and wants them put first. Ranger is an inside dog with the run of the house, he is house broken and leash trained. He is good with other dogs but no so good with cats, he will chase them. He is still a little skiddish on car rides but otherwise adapts well to new stuations. Born with detached retinas, slants to right side, maybe has a little bit of sight from that eye. Ranger is a wonderful companion, he's in great health and has a lot of energy and spunk.
Update March 2011: Ranger is doing really well but the situation with owners boyfriend is not good, he wants Ranger gone. He does not want him near his children. His owner takes him with her as much as she can as she fears she may come home and find either her boyfriend or father has taken Ranger to be PTS. Ranger really needs a new home asap so he can have a second chance at life!
