Vet Info: Bentley is neutered. He is not up to date on his shots (see owner
information below). He is heartworm negative. He has retinal degeneration and
is blind. He is healthy.
Owner Info: Bentley's owner has had him
since he was 8 weeks old. Bentley went blind over the last year and now, when
his owner is at work, he "gnaws on himself and pees/poops all over his
cage." Otherwise, he is completely housetrained. He weighs 15-20 pounds.
He gets sick with his vaccinations so is not up to date. He is an indoor dog
and is leash-trained. He knows the commands to sit and shake. He gets along
with people of all ages, but dogs that are bigger than he is make him nervous
and he may growl, but he has never bitten or hurt another dog. The current
owner found another home for him and he went there for a week and "did
great" but the new owner hurt her back and had to return Bentley. There
were no problems with Bentley in the new home. Bentley is a great dog who needs
someone who is home most to all of the day.
