Info: Katie is a very sweet and loving girl who was found abandoned
on a mountain road. The people who found her could not keep her and surrendered
her to her current rescue. They believe the odds of her finding a furever home
in that area who not only know how to care for a blind and deaf dog, but
want to, are very slim. They feel she needs a better chance at a
furever home than they can give her. Katie is an indoor dog with run
of the house, she is housebroken and leash trained, and good with other
dogs. Katie is not possessive of toys, treats, or food, and has never
shown any aggression. Besides the back leg (right) that doesn't bend and
the fact that she is also deaf, they say that she seems to be quite
healthy. They note that "Katie is
deaf and blind as well as having a crippled rear leg but she is so sweet
and she deserves more than we can give her here!"
