Vet Info: Kuma is not neutered and has not had a recent heartworm test.  Kuma is up to date on vaccines and is next due for rabies and distemper on 10/21/2014.  Kuma weighs 100 pounds.

Owner Info: Kuma is a very handsome completely blind Akita whose current owner adopted him 2 years ago when his previous owner was moving and could not take him. Now Kuma's current owner is moving on May 17th.  His girlfriend is highly allergic and the new place they are moving to does not allow dogs of his size.  Kuma's previous owner will not take him back, and his current owner has had no luck in finding Kuma a new home.  Kuma is an indoor dog with run of the house, he is housebroken and leash trained.  He will sometimes sit when asked!  Kuma has been blind his entire life and his owner says that sometimes you can't even tell he's blind!  Kuma is good with people of all ages and both male and female dogs, however his owner writes, "occasionally if dogs play rough he will get someone aggressive but typically he is provoked. When not he is usually very sweet!"  Kuma's owner does note that he seems better with female dogs, but has never gone after any other dog, and is not possessive of toys, treats, or food.  Kuma's owner also says, " In general he is very healthy and energetic. He will eat anything he can sneak into, is very playful and generally sleeps a tremendous amount of hours a day".
