Mugsy - Adopted

Vet/Medical Info: Mugsy is currently up to date with all vaccinations. He will be due for Rabies and Distemper in December and the others in Feb. 2012. He tested negative for heartworm and is on heartworm prevention medicine. He is neutered and suffers from dry eye and needs drops 2-3 times a day. He is a very well cared for dog.

Owner Info: Mugsy's elderly owners can no longer take care of him, his 83 year old Dad has Parkinsons Disease and his 81 year old Mom just had a fall and broke both of her arms. They will be unable to walk him in the winter weather and their family has fears of them falling in the ice and snow. They originally got Mugsy from a neighbor's litter. Although Mugsy has not shown any aggression, he does not do well with small children that get in his face or bother him. Mugsy needs a home that's quiet as he sleeps most of the day. He is walked, he is not in a fenced yard. Mugsy is an indoor dog with the run of the house, he is housebroken and leash trained. He is good with people and older children (teenagers up) and he is good with other dogs. Please help us place this dog rather than the other alternative. Thank you for any help you can provide.
