Mister - In BDRA Foster Care

Name: Mister
Sex: Male (altered – although unable to be verified)
Breed: Toy Poodle
Age: 6 years approximately
Location: Vass, NC

Vet/Medical Info: Mister’s medical history is unknown and we have not been able to verify that he is neutered.

Owner Info: Mister was found in a thunderstorm in a cow pasture. He is a neutered, purebred toy poodle and barely weighs a thing. He is blind and deaf, very sweet but scared. After searching lost/found dog sites and posting him everywhere, the lady caring for him realized his family was not looking for him. She rescues and rehomes dogs all the time, but wanted this baby to go to a home with someone with experience in dealing with a blind or deaf baby. Mister has been an inside dog with the run of the house since being with his rescuer, he is not housebroken or leash trained. He is good with people and children of all ages as well as other dogs, cats and small animals. He adjusts well to new situations, he has been in two different homes with two different sets of dogs since she found him. She was in GA at the time visiting family and he stayed there before returning to her home in NC. She wishes she could help with vet bills, but has no job and no extra money. He needs to see a vet asap, she believes he has a cold and he needs his ears looked at. He can see blocks of light sometimes and if you are standing up and wave, he can see your movement and will walk toward you. His ears are definitely bothering him, she has cleaned them twice, but something else is going on. His teeth appear decent, no rotten or loose ones and his gums are in good shape. She wishes she could keep this baby, but currently has five dogs (in a rental house with a two dog limit) and also has four other dogs being kept in foster homes currently, that she is trying to rehome.
