says she is willing to pay for vaccines and heartworm testing. Ray weighs
about 70 pounds.

is a very special boy who will need a very special rescue! Ray's owner is
moving within the next 90 days and cannot take Ray with her. She
writes, "I don't want to let him go but I know that he has to."
She has had Ray since birth and admits that he has not been properly
socialized. Ray is an outdoor dog with a fenced yard, he is housebroken
but not leash trained. He is good with female dogs and is not
possessive of toys, treats, or food. His owner says, "He is
possessive of his territory. He doesn't like visitors and barks and growls at
everyone but family," and that he is skittish around new people, but he
has never bitten or snapped. The cause of Ray's blindness is not known,
but his owner says that he can see shadows and light and dark, and he gets
around her yard very well! He appears healthy other than his blindness
and she says he did have parvovirus as a puppy.
