Vet Info: Per his owner's friend, Jessy is neutered and is up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. This has not yet been confirmed, but I will update once I have confirmation. Jessy weighs 10 pounds.

Owner Info: Jessy is a very handsome little boy whose owner is elderly and in poor health. She is having a difficult time taking care of Jessy. A friend has contacted us on her behalf and is hoping to find rescue before his owner is unable to care for him at all. They note that he hasn't been to the vet in a while, but other than his "vision problem", he is healthy. They also say that Jessy has cataracts and may benefit from surgery. Jessy is an indoor dog with run of the house, he is housebroken and leash trained. He knows some commands, including come and eat! Jessy is good with both men and women, but children may frighten him. He is good with both male and female dogs. Jessy is not possessive of toys, treats, or food. When asked if Jessy has ever shown aggression, his owner's friend writes, "he does not see well so it makes him a little nervous sometimes otherwise he is a sweet dog." They write that Jessy "is a very sweet dog that needs someone who is able to adopt him and give him a loving home which he deserves we do not want to take him to a shelter. Please help as soon as possible as the pet owner just cant handle taking care of him thank you"
