Vet Info: Momma has been spayed. She is up to date on her rabies shot but the vet has no information on any other shot. There is no record of HW testing either. She weighs 16 pounds and is about 9 years old. She is blind and her health is good.

Owner Info: Momma's current owner rescued her from craiglist but is unable to keep her because she has young children, and the activity level of the young children bothers Momma. Momma is not aggressive at all to anyone or any animal, but isolates herself from everyone when it gets loud. She needs a quieter home. Momma is housebroken and leashtrained. She is good with people of all ages and also with male dogs and cats, although the owner is unsure about female dogs. She is going blind but sees well enough to maneuver well around the house and yard. The owner said that Momma recently had bloodwork which indicates that her blindness is not related to diabetes/Momma is not diabetic. She is a former puppy mill breeding dog so she was not taken care of and is especially in need of a dental. She also is a little bit overweight as she was "free-fed" puppy food in her last home, but now she is on a reasonable diet and is losing weight. Her owner wrote: Momma is a sweet girl. She isn't overly outgoing or social, and prefers to be near her people rather than being in a lap, but is okay being picked up and loved on. She enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those around her own size.
