Vet Info: Tundra is confirmed spayed and received her rabies vaccine on 1/2/14.  She weighs 35 pounds.   Per her owners, she is a double merle/homozygous merle, and she is 95% deaf and blind.

Owner Info: Tundra is a beautiful girl whose owners have made the difficult decision to rehome. They love her very much, but feel that there is a more suitable home for her.  Tundra's owner will soon be working 12 hours a day and her significant other is gone for months at a time for his job.   Please read their heartfelt email: "Tundra is NOT housebroken. She has an incontinence problem where she relieves herself several times a day in small amounts. She WILL go potty outside, and has been under going training since we got her to only potty outside. However, she will not alert typically alert you when she needs to go potty, and will soil her kennel instead of holding it. We are unsure as of why. We think maybe she has an overactive intestinal and urinary tract. Our vet couldn't tell us why, either. Despite her disabilities, Tundra is a super happy girl. She is always happy, never shy or nervous. She happily meets everyone and everything, human or animal. She is friendly with all ages, both male and female, humans and is friendly with all male and female animals, including cats and sugar gliders. She is not possessive, aggressive, or dominant in anyway. She is accepting of being touched by anyone, anywhere, at anytime without showing nervousness. She is leash trained (with a harness and/or collar.) She does very well in cars and will lay down and stay there quietly. She is kennel trained, but will soil it if she has to go potty. She does bark in her kennel. She wants to be around you at all times and prefers to be with her human than other dogs, but she will happily play with other dogs. She is a chewer, but can be easily corrected to chew on her toys. She loves Nylabones. She tolerates baths and grooming nicely. She has a lot of energy when let out of her kennel, but comes back down quickly and will often lay down and chew on her toys afterwards. She is a very loving girl, and love to cuddle and be close to her. She adapts very quickly to new surroundings, it took her three days to fully memorize my house. She does not require a Fenced yard, she is particular about staying close to the house and can find her way back inside easily, but it would be best if she could have a fenced yard. She is an Aussie, so she has energy she needs to get out by running and playing. She does not nip, bite, or snap. Ever. Tundra is a loved member of our family and we want the best for her".
