been vetted but her current caregiver tells us that she will be spayed and
vetted soon. Helena weighs 9 lbs. She is blind but other than that, we don't
yet know much about her visual issues. This information will be updated once
she has been vetted.
Owner Info: Helena was rescued
from a high-kill shelter by a woman who owns a rescue. Her rescue is very full
so she is looking for help placing sweet Helena. Helena is an indoor dog
confined to one area of the house. She is not house-broken or leash-trained.
Her rescuer says Helena is nervous and shy and “she hides and tries to get away
when she senses another dog present.” She snapped at another dog when the large
dog was barking close-by and she panicked. Other than that, she has not shown
aggression and she is not possessive of toys, treats, or food. Helena's rescuer
wants us to know that “she is very sweet” and hopes she can go to a home with
people who know blind dogs.
