Vet Info:  Precious is confirmed spayed and up to date on vaccines.  She received her one year rabies and DaPPV vaccines in April, 2015, and received the intranasal Bordetella at the same time.  She is heartworm negative.  Precious weighs about 50 pounds.

Owner Info: Precious is a beautiful girl who was an owner surrender to a high-kill shelter.  She was terrified in the shelter!  A representative from a small rescue saw her there and pulled her from the shelter, hoping to find her a wonderful new home.  They have had her up for adoption for a few months but there has been no interest in sweet Precious, and they don't have a foster who can keep her.  They are very much hoping for BDRA placement for her. Precious is an indoor dog with run of the house, she is housebroken and leash trained.  Their vet confirmed that she can see shadows and maybe a bit more, and they suspect she was born with her condition.  They tell us Precious seems to be a very healthy young girl. Precious is good with men and women, male and female dogs, and cats.  She currently lives with other dogs and cats and is just fine with all of them.  They write that she may be rough for young children because of her playing, and gave us more details.  "Precious is having a hard time learning what no or down mean. She loves to jump up on people and other dogs but she is doing so in play but she is not learning despite any training we can give not to do this. She is good with all people and other dogs but she can hurt smaller kids with the jumping and she also nips (not in aggressive manner just playing) but its best for her to be in a home with no small kids."  Precious is a sweet girl and is not possessive of toys, treats, or food.  She has never bitten or snapped in aggression, and her rescue tells us she's shown no aggression at all.  "She does try to grab your arm when playing, but she is just playing...Everything is a game to her."  They want us to know that she's very sweet and deserves her second chance!  "She is a sweet girl that just deserves a better chance than what we are equipped to give her."

Update 7/21/15: The OS Team has heard from Precious's contact and she is now urgent!

Have you guys maybe found a place for Precious. We have run out of options for her. We now literally have nowhere for her to go. We are desperate to save her life but without a place we really don't know what to do. Thanks in advance for anything you can do.
