Annie

Name: Annie
Age: 8 years
Breed: Part Corgi
Sex: Female (altered per owner, not confirmed)
Location: Marietta, GA

Vet Info: Annie is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative per her owner, but this has not been confirmed.  Her owner also wrote that Annie has had a dental.  Annie weighs about 30 pounds.

Owner Info: Annie is a beautiful girl who was adopted from an animal shelter about a month ago.  Her owner is disabled and can no longer take care of her.  She is desperate to find Annie a new home as soon as possible.  Annie should be considered very urgent.

Annie is an indoor dog with run of the house, she is not housebroken, but is leash trained.  She knows the command, sit.  Annie is described as outgoing!  Annie's owner tells us she's very sweet, and is not possessive of toys, treats, or food.  She has never bitten or snapped.  Annie doesn't live with any other animals currently.  Annie's owner says that Annie is blind in both eyes, and is in good health.

Annie's owner is desperately hoping we can help Annie.

Update 10/15/15:  Annie has been to the vet twice.  One time was for her dental and the second time was for a urine test.  Annie's owner notes that Annie does need to pee frequently and usually pees outside, but may pee in the house.  No UTI was found at the test.  The vet's office did not have a record of vaccines or HW testing, and was not able to confirm Annie's spay. Annie's blindness is due to cataracts.

As far as her owner knows, Annie is good with male and female dogs.  She's also good with men and women as well as older children.  Her owner says she's very friendly!  Annie may not be good with young children or cats/small animals, but this is not known for sure.

Update 11/15/15: We now suspect Annie has diabetes and she is extremely urgent! Her owner is not able to care for her.
