Daisy - Adopted

Location: Southeastern Kentucky

Vet Info: The vet said that he has no record of Daisy being spayed but did say she is in good health. She has had both of her eyes removed. She is current on her shots, including rabies. 

Owner Info: Daisy was adopted from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky but then landed back in the shelter again until her current owner took her home in May 2012. Daisy is a four year old, 40 pound purebred Parti Cocker Spaniel. She is an indoor dog who is housebroken but still learning about the leash. She knows her name and responds to it. She is still learning about steps, and also learning not to jump when she is happy to see someone. Daisy is an outgoing dog who is good with men and women and also older children. She gets along with other dogs and cats, but doesn't like puppies jumping on her - she won't bite but will move away from them. The current owner fosters a number of dogs and can no longer keep Daisy - and the shelter in Daisy's area has a 95% euthanasia rate! She is hoping that someone will give Daisy a forever home. She said that she will pay for the spay and HW test if someone will take her. Daisy is a "super friendly girl who loves everyone!"
