Gus and Jacques - Adopted

Name: Gus and Jacques
Breed: Papillons
Age: 5 weeks, DOB 10/13/12
Sex: Males
Location: Missouri

Vet Info: Each pup currently weighs less than one pound, and is expected to weigh between 5 - 9 pounds when grown.  Per owner, pups will be neutered and will be utd on vaccines before they are placed.  Pups' owner says that congenital cataracts completely cover the pupil of both eyes on both pups.  There is no light reaching the inner eye at this time. Their owner will have their eyes dilated and re-evaluated at 8 weeks when they are neutered, but right now their vet doesn't have hope that the eye will grow larger than the cataract in order to let light in.  They will be available 10 days after they are neutered.

Owner Info: The pups' owner bought a female Papillon to breed but she never took so she was retired - however she had been with a male and the retired home gave her back (not wanting to deal with pups) just before having them - there are 3 total.  The puppies are purebred AKC Papillons (2 males) they will be given all normal shots, will be wormed, socialized and very loved on.  Their dew claws have been removed.  Their mom is a healthy 3 yr old AKC Papillon, and she is a very sweet and mellow girl - not a yapper -  she's a very good mom.   The puppies are expected to be very sweet, affectionate and outgoing.  They appear perfect in every way other than the cataracts completely covering their pupils.  They are good with adults and teenagers (but should not be placed in homes with children younger than 5 as they are very small and have delicate bones that can be broken if stepped on), and good with other dogs and cats.  Pups have never shown any aggression, and are very sweet and loving!
