Vet Info: Tommy is confirmed neutered. He is up to date on his rabies vaccine and is next due 4/19/2013. There is no other record of any other vaccines given. They had no record of heartworm testing, but Tommy's owner says he is heartworm negative and will get back to us with confirmation. Tommy weighs 8 pounds.
Owner Info: Tommy's owners have had Tommy since he was a puppy and love him dearly. He has had a difficult time adjusting to their first child and they have a second on the way. Tommy recently went blind from cataracts and his behavior has become inconsistent and very jealous. He is completely blind in left eye and is going blind in the right, but can see shadows and large objects. They have been trying to adapt for months, but the last straw was when he urinated on their daughter's things. They hate the thought of losing him, but with two children under two, they can't give him their full attention. Tommy is an indoor dog with run of the house, he is housebroken and leash trained. Tommy knows several commands - sit, stay, down, up, kennel, bed. He is good with people of all ages, and both male and female dogs and cats. Tommy lives with a cat now. He is not possessive of toys, treats, or food, and has never bitten or snapped. They feel that he adapts well to new situations, but he needs more attention than they're able to give.
