Alfie - In Memory

Vet/Medical Info: Alfie is utd on vaccines, due for rabies 12/22/14 and distempter on 12/22/12. They have no record of any heartworm testing done. He is neutered, and diabetes appears to be well controlled with three units every 12 hours (from 12/11 - insulin dosage could have increased since then).  Alfie weighs about 15 pounds.

Owner Information: Alfie's owner is relocating to Boston on Tuesday 6/19, and his new apartment does not accept pets.  He needs to find placement THIS WEEK and is EXTREMELY URGENT. Alfie’s owner is willing to pay for air transport for Alfie, and has already done research into what this will entail. He's a loving and sweet boy and his owner is desperately hoping he can be placed this week. Alfie is an indoor dog with the run of the house, he is housebroken and leash trained. He does wear a belly band because if he finds himself cornered in the house he may get nervous and mark. Alfie has cataracts as a result of diabetes, but he can have surgery to remove the cataracts. Alfie is shy at first but loves people. Has been spoiled since being with his owner, but never takes anything for granted. He's low key, quiet temper, sleeps, eats, and loves!!!   Alfie is fine with other dogs that he meets. Being blind he gets anxious if they are overly aggressive with him and will give a snap, but this is all he does.
