Tinkerbell - Adopted

Name: Tinkerbell (Tink)
Sex: Female (altered per owner, not yet confirmed)
Breed: Cocker Spaniel
Age: 5-6 years
Location: West End, NC

 

Vet/Medical Info: Tinkerbell's owner rescued her from a previous owner and has had her only a short time.  She says that Tinkerbell is spayed and up to date on vaccines, but this has not yet been confirmed.  Tink weighs 15 pounds.  Tinkerbell was born blind.

Owner Info:  Tinkerbell's current owner rescued her from someone who posted her on Craig's List that if she didn't find a new home that day, she was going to put her to sleep.  Unfortunately, her current is unable to keep Tink because her bigger dogs are too rough with her.  She has contacted familly, friends and several rescue groups, but has had no luck yet.  Tinkerbell is an indoor dog with run of the house, is housebroken and leash trained.  She is good with other dogs, cats, and kids.  She has never shown any aggression at all.  Her owner notes it takes a couple of days for her to adjust to her surroundings but after that she does VERY well!  Tinkerbell was born blind per her owner, but other than that, she is very healthy.  Her owner believes she'd do best in a home with no larger dogs to jump on her.
