No Name Labrador Mixes, Bonded Pair - Reunited With Owner

Name: Unknown
Sex: Male (altered) and Female (unknown if altered)
Breed: Labrador Mixes
Age: Estimated 5 years
Location: Knoxville, TN

Vet/Medical Info: Because these dogs were found as strays we have been unable to verify any medical information.

Owner Info: These two dogs were found by a lady that has three dogs of her own and also fosters dogs. The black lab is a male and appears to be blind and neutered, the yellow lab is his seeing eye dog and it is unknown if she has been altered. Their caregiver has posted them on Young Williams lost and found center, Facebook, Craigslist, and put up signs. She also took them into vet to get scanned for microchips, the yellow one had a chip but number was disconnected and not in their area. At the moment they are living in their caregivers neighbors garage to keep them safe, they appear to be housebroken and leash trained, no accidents in garage and they walk nicely on leashes. These dogs both seem to know sit, down (lie down) and shake. Very sweet and well mannered and so sweet and patient. FRIENDLY. They are absolutely precious and so bonded. She thinks they were dumped in their neighborhood. The sighted dog seems to help the blind dog navigate. The blind one is understandably more cautious but has been so sweet when she washed him and handled him in the car, etc. Seem like they'd be fine with everyone. They didn't over react to her foster golden at all. They are both outgoing dogs who are good with men, women and teenagers. They have been great in her neighbor's garage and back yard. Very little barking, eating fine and wagging their tails at everyone. The blind one is more cautious, but very smart in that he feels his way around. His blond buddy helps him. It is absolutely precious. The black blind dog has very cloudy eyes as you can see in picture. When she took them for microchip scan, the vet assistant said, "glaucoma." He does not appear to see much at all. They seem healthy but they need to be checked out. Their caregiver can help as able but is strapped with her own dogs and fosters. She will try to do what she can to help these two but is going out of town soon and is worried about them. They need somewhere safe where they can stay together.
