Vet/Medical Info: We have been unable to verify Roscoe’s medical information as it appears he has not been vetted recently.

Owner Info: Roscoe’s current owners took him in as a rescue, they have been trying to find the right place for him and haven't been able to. They are moving away in a month or so and cannot take him. They have put ads in the paper many times, because he is a special needs dog, they let that be known. Got a few calls, but no one was ever serious. They have been looking at sanctuarys, same thing. Owner has said they are willing to have Roscoe neutered if they can find somewhere safe for him to go. Roscoe's first owner got him from a puppy farm, they think a lot of the puppies were inbred, hence why most of them were born blind or partially blind. Roscoe was abandoned by his previous owner, his current owner and her daughter took him in, and have been trying to find a forever home ever since. Roscoe is an indoor dog with the run of the house, he is housebroken and leash trained. He knows the commands sit and shake. Roscoe is a very nervous boy until he gets to know you, he is terrified of thunder storms. He gets on well with people and children of all ages, other dogs, cats and small animals. Roscoe is partially blind and was born that way. He walks good but into walls alot. Walks on a leash, but loves to run. You just have to make sure he is in a safe area so he doesn't get hurt. Apart from his visual impairment, he is very healthy and well tempered. He is very friendly. If they do not find a home for him soon they will have to take him to the pound.
