Mouse - Staying With Owner

Name: Mouse
Age: Estimated late teens
Sex: Female (unknown if altered)
Breed: Pomeranian
Location: Philadelphia, PA area

Vet Info: We asked for information about Mouse's vet visit, and her good samaritan wrote, "The vet said she is in her late teens. She has a grade 4/5 heart murmur, hair loss from a probable endocrine dz, arthritis...She has had half her jaw removed surgically. The vet has no idea why. The vet said in spite of her problems she's relatively healthy!"  She also tells us Mouse eats very well!  Mouse weighs 4 pounds, 10 ounces and appears completely blind and deaf.  She did not receive any vaccinations.

Owner Info: Mouse is a tiny senior girl who was found as a stray last week.  Her good samaritan took her in and brought her to the vet.  Her good samaritan has no experience with blind dogs, and tells us that Mouse is anxious and won't sleep.  She is very much hoping we'll have a place for Mouse!
Mouse is an indoor dog with run of the house, she is housebroken but not leash trained.  Mouse is good with women and teenagers, male and female dogs, and cats.  She currently lives with a 16 year old female Pomeranian and a cat.  She is not possessive of toys, treats, or food, and has never bitten or snapped.

Mouse's good samaritan told us that Mouse is anxious and does not sleep well, but loves to be carried around.  We asked for more details about what Mouse does when she's anxious, and her good samaritan wrote, "She loves to be carried in a sling. Photo included. She is more housebroken than my current dog.  Her anxiety manifests by her walking the perimeter of the house during any waking moment, whining and bumping into walls. She falls asleep in your arms but when you put her down she wakes up like an infant whines and begins walking around bumping into things. She gets into trouble by getting tangled up in cords, bra straps and spins until she's all tied up. I had to place her in a pet carrier and stick her in the washroom last night so I could get sleep. She whined and rolled around for what seemed like hours until she fell asleep. I have a Xanax script for her but it seems to make her more anxious. Falling while roaming the house. I have another Pom who also walks the parameter. It is a Pom thing. But the blindness is very hard for her. She loves my teen daughter who holds her a lot."

Does anyone have room for this sweet tiny senior who loves to be held?
